The Burbank Benge horns
(1953-1969) were seen as the flowering of the Benge production.
They
are relatively rare in the UK as most are Los Angeles made
or the newer UMI Benges.
This
one has the most popular #3 bell and in ML bore. Serial 5117
is stamped on all the valves pistons.
#3
is stamped on the ferrule joining the bell tail to the valve
block (#3 bell).
This
horn has been very well looked after over the years and in
beautiful condition.
Valves are fast, quiet and smooth. All the slides work well
(including the 3rd dump slide).
No
dents. No dings. Silver plated finish in excellent condition
with just some tiny spots of wear.
