Sopranino Saxophones

Sopranino Saxophones are the smallest saxophones used other than some which are generally regarded as novelties rather than serious instruments.

Pitched in Eb, an octave above the alto sax and a perfect 4th above the soprano. Such a small sax is a challenge for the manufacturers as well as players – most simply don’t build or play Sopranino! With this in mind we keep the excellent Yanagisawa 981 Sopranino Sax in stock.

If you want an even smaller sax, the soprillo (or sopranissimo) saxophone is the smallest member of the saxophone family and is pitched in Bb, an octave above the soprano sax.
