Roy Benson Rotary Valve Tenor/Baritone Horn in Bb
The Roy Benson Rotary Valve Tenor/Baritone Horn is pitched in Bb. To UK players this is a rotary valve baritone horn whilst in continental Europe it is called a tenor horn. This is what the “tenor horn” solos in Mahler’s 7th symphony were written for. To add the potential for confusion it looks very much like a back to front Wagner tuba.
This is the ideal instrument for any baritone or euphonium player who wants to look the part in an Oompah band gig – lederhosen not included!
