If some basic features
(weight, height, system) follow clarinet traditional perfect
examples, "Signature" concept is unique and cannot be compared.
The tone is a fine compromise between roundness and presence,
a wide, dynamic range makes pianissimo and fortissimo playing
easy without saturation, keeping a perfect tone and accuracy
harmony ; centred and easy emission with any style gives a
very good control level.
Accuracy is perfectly balanced on the whole instrument and,
to suit any musician, Selmer Signature Bb clarinets are available
in two pitches (A clarinet available in one pitch).
