This Vintage Hawkes & Son 1st Class Cornet was made c1910 and is looking good for its age. Originally a high pitch instrument, it has been converd to standard 440Hz at some point. All the slides move as they should and it plays, but not as well as it would 100 years ago as the valves are a bit worn, so it would be best considered as a playable collectable. Comes supplied in a woodshell case.
