Warburton 6BC trumpet or cornet cup designed for use with Warburton BC cornet backbore. This is an extremely deep British Cornet style cup, similar in depth to the Denis Wick \u201cno letter\u201d cups. Produces a warm tone with the flexibility to produce a great volume of sound or the softest whisper.<\/p>\n

Warburton:<\/h4>\n

The Warburton system lets you choose a combination of rim diameter, cup style and depth, with a backbore to best balance your sound and resistance. This flexibility means you can have the most efficient mouthpiece with which to perform in any given playing situation.<\/p>\n

Our two-piece system consists of fully interchangeable \u201cTOP\u201d sections and \u201cBACKBORE\u201d sections. Due to the many demands placed upon the modern brass player, the variety of Warburton cup designs are able to produce the most desired sound in any playing idiom.<\/p>\n

The backbore sizes compliment the cup designs and further assist in the refinement and \u201cfine-tuning\u201d of the sound. Consideration has been given even to the placement of the backbore into the receiver (amount of gap).<\/p>\n

The Warburton system allows the player the opportunity to personally \u201cbalance\u201d their equipment. This can now be accomplished without the necessity of traveling to a mouthpiece maker or waiting for a mail-order custom made piece that often does not work and cannot be exchanged.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
