Second Hand Paxman Series 2 French Horn in very good playing condition. It has a fair amount of cosmetic wear with various marks to the lacquer. This horn has an adjustable hand rest and as can be seen from the photographs, the keys have been extended with 5p coins. This is a surprisingly comfortable modification however they could easily be removed if required. Comes supplied in a fiberglass case.<\/p>\n
Paxman Series 2 horns were made in the late 1970s, early 1980s and was Paxmans more cost effective intermediate horn that was still handmade. They are based on the Paxman 20 but with a sturdier Italian made bell. These horns are now quite rare and are basically a hand made almost pro Paxman for a lot less money and play really well. The story goes that production stopped because players started buying this horn over the more expensive Model 20 pro model.<\/p>\n
