The
Mendez was a top of the line model and commanded a higher
retail price than the Olds Recording or Olds Opera.
Bore:
.460" (ML), Bell: 4 3/4" Ultra sonic, Intonation Aids:
1st & 3rd slide triggers.
The
bell reads "Mendez Trumpet F.E Olds and Son, Fullerton,
Calif." All valve pistons are stamped with the c orrect
serial number.
The
original nickel silver finish has some normal wear to
the valve block and the leadpipe is raw brass & may
be a replacement.
This
horn has been "used but not abused", very well maintained
and looked after. There are no dents, no dings or repairs.
Valves,
slides & triggers all work exceptionally well and
compression is excellent.
Comes
with original case in excellent working condition.
