Tenor Horns in EbTenor horns are mostly to be found in brass bands. In the family of brass band instruments they are about in the middle if sorting by size. The smallest is the soprano cornet, next the Bb cornet, then the flugel horn & then the tenor horn. In some countries tenor horns are called alto horns, which can lead to confusion. The code for Yamaha tenor horns is YAH which stands for Yamaha Alto Horn. Even more confusing is that Bb baritone horns are called tenor horns in countries such as Germany & Austria
