Comparison to the
Yamaha 6610S by Trevor Jones
The bore is slighty
larger & the bell is slightly smaller.
The tone quality
is darker, so a smaller/shallower mouthpiece could be used
without the resulting tone being over bright.
The tuning on the
usual problematic Ist valve D, 2nd valve Eb & open E is
better, & manageable with normal fingering.
Despite the fact
that it is a third of the price of the Yamaha 6610S, my initial
reaction is that the Arnolds Terra would be my choice.
