The helicon is a member of the tuba family, similar to, but pre-dating, the Sousaphone (itself actually a development of the helicon). Commonly used in central and Eastern Europe, particularly in military bands. Preferred by some jazz musicians to the Sousaphone due to their smaller bell size and more compact sound.
Our second hand instruments are serviced before being offered for sale, and are subject to six months guarantee. This does not apply to instruments being sold on commission which are sold as seen. VAT is not chargeable on our second hand instruments.
