Measuring just 6.8″ the CarolBrass CPC-1000-YSS Mini Pocket Cornet is probably the smallest playable Bb cornet in production. The mini pocket cornet has a specially designed small yellow brass bell and light weight construction. This is the ideal travel cornet for those times when space is at a premium. I recently bought a Carol Mini Pocket Trumpet from Trevor at Trevor Jones Brass and Woodwind in Bristol.
A really great purchase and after a month I couldnt really be any happier with it .
Plays freely and smoothly and , apart  from maybe the low F#, its very in tune throughout the range .
Its also very resposive and easy to hold.
The valves are great and the sound is bright but warm.
I use it for practice only but I could get through a gig on one if I had to.
Its size makes it very conveniet and the case is great.
I chose the model with the cornet mouthpiece reciever
which has old fashioned water keys which I prefer.
I agree with Trevor that It blows even better than the trumpet version.
