Vintage Louis Augu Trombone
This Vintage Louis Augu Trombone is a very fine playable collectable in excellent condition. Louis Augu was a French dealer based in Bourges in the early 20th century. As can be seen from the photographs, the silver plate on this vintage trombone has stood the test of time. The water key on the slide is an interesting and unusual design that we have not seen before, similar to an Amado water key, it is activated by pressing the slide against the floor. Why this design never caught on and became the standard is a mystery. Comes supplied in a woodshell case.
