The Claude Lakey 7*3 tenor sax mouthpiece has a tip opening of .114mm. The 7*3 is a popular model which has a bright, round centered sound with great projection. It is a very free-blowing tenor sax mouthpiece.
Claude Lakey tenor handcrafted mouthpieces are traditionally bright but many players with a willingness to experiment with different reeds, ligatures and ligature placement have achieved a darker sound. All six mouthpieces are different in the facing, chamber and tip opening.
