The Denis Wick bass trombone travel mute DW5583 has been developed to provide a free-blowing but extremely quiet mute suitable for warming-up and practising in hotels. It is also ideal for quiet home practice. It is fitted with an internal cork damper and has thick high-quality neoprene pads to help create a very soft sound. An ideal compact practice mute. This mute fits most modern bass trombones.
