Hawkes and Son Wooden Flute in F
Hawkes and Son Wooden Flute in F for restoration or display. The overall condition of this instrument is good with all springs and keys working as they should. It does blow but would benefit from a re-pad. It’s tuned nearer F# than F so it’s possible that it is in the key of F but high pitched. Comes supplied with its own unique leather case that seems to be designed to hang from a belt loop. The metal ferrules on the end of each of the joints are stamped with the “broad arrows” logo of the war department so it was used in a military band.
