Description

One of the best features of the Légère synthetic reed, is that it is not subject to weather or humidity changes and therefore does not require pre-moistening. The reed will warm up within the first few days of playing and will then be stable for an extended period of time. Although Légère reeds are made out of a synthetic material and can withstand longer periods than a typical cane reed, the tip edges are very fragile and require careful handling. Be sure to clean the reed periodically with water and a mild detergent. Germicides such as sterisol may be used, however do not assume that such products will sterilize the reed completely. We strongly advise that any reed which has been played or tested by others previously, be sanitized prior to playing, With proper care and maintenance of your légère reed, you will be able to experience many hours of playing pleasure right out of the box.
