Pressure Adapter for Trumpet
The Pressure Adapter for Trumpet, also referred to as an anti-pressure trainer, is designed to sit between the trumpet and the mouthpiece and features a spring-loaded barrel which opens a small hole when too much pressure is applied. The adapter has a step-less adjustment so the resistance can be varied to suit the needs of the player, this is particularly useful for players who are working to gradually reduce the pressure they use.
Works with any trumpet. As the length of the instrument is increased, using the device lowers the pitch of a Bb trumpet by approximately a semi-tone.
