Pro-Line French Horn Straight Mute

The Pro-Line French Horn Straight Mute is handmade in Germany from natural fibres. Crafted with a light weight design, it has a warm tone with bright overtones and fantastic intonation. It blends extremely well with strings. Unlike many metal mutes it which “switch on” at around mf  Pro-Line mutes give a characteristic muted timbre across the full dynamic range. Although bigger than other French Horn mutes, the Pro-Line is worth consideration for it’s superior performance.

Pro-Line mutes are now played in major symphony orchestras world-wide.
