This Second Hand Besson Eb/D Trumpet is in good condition with main tuning slides for both Eb and D. The instrument plays nicely and looks great with it’s unusually placed third valve slide ring. It has a few repaired dents & dings & the lacquer has wear and marking in all the usual related areas as is common for an instrument of this age. When Trevor Jones played in the CBSO in the 1960’s the orchestra owned three of these & they were used to play all D trumpet parts by Bach & Handel etc. Piccolo Bb trumpets were not in common use then as they are now.
