Second Hand Yamaha YAS 62 Alto Sax
This Second Hand Yamaha YAS 62 Alto Sax is an early example of this legendary instrument from the classic purple logo era. As can be seen from the photographs this sax has quite a bit of tarnishing, but what this sax lacks in cosmetic beauty it makes up for in tone. It plays with a lovely full bodied tone, somewhat darker than that of the newer versions. It is in good playing order but no doubt it could be improved by a full set up sometime. Comes supplied in a Berkley case which is also a bit tatty but fully functional. No mouthpiece included.
