Selmer Prelude Clarinet
The Selmer Prelude Clarinet is a great value for money student instrument. It creates a mellow sound and comes with mouthpiece, ligature and case.
With the keys designed specifically for beginner hands, this clarinet allows students to have a correct and comfortable hand position from the first day. The body is made from ABS resin (a type of hard rubber) which gives a warmer, more wood-like sound. It is finished to look more wood-like and has a mellow sound ideal for young players.
To make the clarinet easy to play and durable it has a large .583″ (14.8mm) bore and nickel-plated keys. Included with the Prelude CL711 is a case, mouthpiece, cap, ligature, and a pull-through swab.
The small .569” complex bore gives students more resistance that helps develop a well controlled even focused mature sound with better projection at all dynamic levels.
Specially designed drop forged, nickel-silver keys are durable and resistant to bending.
The brushed composite body uses a denser material to provide a look, sound, and response similar to wood instruments.
Prelude instruments are offered with a stylish lightweight case for easy travel.
