Stomvi Titan HE Soprano Cornet with gold brass bell and Harmonic Enhancement. This Eb soprano cornet is rapidly becoming a favourite for brass bands in the UK and beyond.

The harmonic enhancement features Stomvi’s patented valve clappers, maxi clappers and Dynasound valve guides which combine to add extra resonance to the sound making it easier to play and giving greater dynamic range.

The gold brass bell is the most versatile of the three options (BellFlex, gold brass and copper) offering plenty of depth and warmth in medium and quiet dynamics, yet still achieving a good bright sound at loud dynamics. Well suited to brass band and orchestral playing.

Stomvi Titán

The Stomvi Titán instruments have a powerful, round, strong and deep sound, yet subtle and balanced. The Titán offer a quick response, clean articulation and registers, providing clear crisp attacks.

Among the Stomvi designs, the Titán range is defined by its line based on tradition and characterized by its big, powerful sound, but in constant evolution.

The Stomvi Titán are multi-purpose instruments, particularly suitable for Orchestra, Symphonic band, Brass Band, Commercial music and Classical and Jazz solos.

The accessories developed by the Stomvi´s research team enable the Titán instruments to produce a rich sound, giving a greater volume to the harmonics. This way they improve the intonation to a level that brings it closer to the colours of the flute, the oboe or even the human voice sound.

Valve Clappers

The valve Clapper is a small brass bell screwed to the bottom of the valve. 

This device greatly facilitates the dynamics of the trumpet itself, giving a greater volume to the harmonics, from note to note. 

With the valve clapper we accomplish something essential for the players: dynamic COMFORT that widely eases the performance.

Maxi Clappers

It has the essential feature, as in any instrument, of increasing the harmonic range thanks to the concomitance of the bells built-in the bottom caps.

This device greatly facilitates the dynamics of the trumpet itself giving a greater volume to the harmonics, from note to note, achieving a sound implosion.

With the MaxiClapper bottom caps we accomplish something essential for the players: dynamic COMFORT that widely eases the performance. Thanks to the higher size than the clapper caps, it improves the sound emission and the passage of the note, it powers and maximises the lateral dimension, functioning as external resonators. The emergence of a 6th harmonic is achieved thanks to the way the bells inside are built and tuned.

The set consists of three pieces: clapper, cap and screw, the last two joined by an O-ring. The clapper and the screw are made of brass and the cap of aluminium.

Dynasound Valve Guides

By substituting plastic guides for metal guides, combining masses and materials, every aspect of the sound – especially the projection and sound density – is maximised. With the same effort, the sound will have a better quality.
