The TGI shaped tenor sax case is a good value case. It is similar to an SKB tenor sax case but costs a fair bit less.
With this style of shaped case it has become fairly normal to store the neck of the saxophone in it’s bell.
However if you decide to do this then put the neck in a suitable bag so as to avoid causing scratches to the bell & to the neck.
