This Vintage F Besson MEHA Trumpet is in good condition. It plays well and has a classic bright tone. This is the earlier version of this iconic trumpet from the days when it was still made in Paris, France before production was taken over by Kanstul in 1983. This F Besson MEHA Trumpet comes supplied with the original Besson mouthpiece and the original woodshell case.
The Besson Meha was a very popular choice, being a brighter horn more suitable for lead and big band playing, played by the famous Conrad Gozzo and others. These original French Besson trumpets are now collectors items, and command high prices.
