Vintage Hawkes and Son Clippertone Trumpet

This Vintage Hawkes and Son Clippertone Trumpet is in good shape for its age. Made in the late 1920s by Hawkes & Son. The silver plate on this trumpet is very good with only the slightest of wear in a couple of places. It has a rotary change to A, which at some point has lost its lever and somebody has put a screw in there to keep it functioning. The valves have good compression and it plays nicely. Overall, a very nice instrument that would be ideal for a collector.
