Vintage Hawkes and Son Wooden Flute
Vintage Hawkes and Son Wooden Flute for restoration or display. The overall condition of this instrument is good with no cracks. All springs and keys are working as they should. It does blow but would benefit from a re-pad. It blows in F# but it is possible that it is in the key of F but high pitched. Comes supplied with its own unique leather case that seems to be designed to hang from a belt loop. The metal ferrules on the end of each of the joints is stamped with the “broad arrows” logo of the war department.
