Vintage Selmer “Table A” Alto Sax Mouthpiece

Vintage Selmer “Table A” Alto Sax Mouthpiece dating from possibly the 1920s with what appears to be the original ligature and cap. In good condition with some hardly noticible signs of use, however as can be seen in one of the three photos the cap is somewhat tarnished.

Closely linked to the invention and the history of the saxophone, the SELMER company has created mythical and revolutionary instruments that were acclaimed by John Coltrane, Stan Getz, Sonny Rollins, Coleman Hawkins… The “Balanced Action”, the “Super Action” and even more the “Mark VI” have thus acquired the status of legendary instruments.
