Yamaha 8335RGS02
Xeno Trumpet
A special version
of the Yamaha Xeno trumpet is available which features several
variations from the standard models.
It has a reversed-style single brace tuning slide for quicker
response and playing agility. This also permits a longer leadpipe
taper for stable, even intonation. The weighted mouthpiece
receiver adds body to the tonal core, and helps the sound
hold together at large dynamics. The 1st valve slide has a
finger ring, as preferred by some players.

Uk Standard
Version Available
Exclusive to the UK, a yellow brass bell version of the reversed
leadpipe Yamaha Xeno Trumpet is also available (YTR-8335RUK).
The yellow brass bell has more resonance and gives the trumpet
a brighter sound, which is favoured by players in the UK.
This version has a lighter mouthpiece receiver and a thumb
hook rather than a thumb ring, as is preferred by British
trumpeters. A silver plated version of this trumpet is also
available (YTR-8335RSUK).
