was developed with some of Germany's leading orchestral players.
In fact, it has been so effective in giving a more traditional
tone color to ‘Germanic' style music, that many conductors
have begun specifically requesting ‘Yamaha Rotaries'. It features
a tone which is dark and full—with plenty of orchestral power—yet
can blend well with other brass and woodwinds. Intonation
is accurate and it is surprisingly easy to play. The YTR-946
is available with either lacquer or silver-plate finish"
