This model is a good choice for marching band thanks to the compact size and light weight. Bass trumpet is often used in military and brass bands.
Sporadically it can be used in the symphonic or opera orchestra (for example: Janacek Sinfonieta, Richard Wagner Der Ring des Nibelungen)”
