The P&H Trumpet or Cornet Plunger Mute is a basic yet effective design. Based on the original concept of a re-purposed sink plunger it is light but sturdy and very unlikely to scratch the bell of the trumpet. One of the most popular trumpet/cornet plunger mutes on the market, it is inexpensive and does a great job.

Often used with a Pixie Mute (small straight mute) to produce a wider variety of sounds.
