Boosey And Hawkes Tenor Sackbut
This Boosey And Hawkes Tenor Sackbut is an interesting curio. Someone at some point has taken an old Boosey & Hawkes pea-shooter trombone (c.1936 model according to the serial number) and converted it into a Sackbut. As can be seen from the pictures, they have done quite a nice job of the bell. It was originally a high pitch instrument and they have added extra tubing to bring the pitch down, unfortunately though, a little bit too much tubing has been added, so it would be necessary to take it to a technician to get it to play in tune.
