This DEG Quadro Trombone is new old stock. These things are a bit of a rarity.

The Quadro uses a double slide similar to some contra bass trombones. The shorter slide and closer positions makes if more agile for jazz and it is also ideal for a young child to learn on as the positions are halved making lower positions easily reachable. Could also be useful for marching bands or pit orchestras or any other situations where space is limited. This concept has been copied on various plastic instruments known as “jazzbones”. Comes supplied with a VTB 6.5AL mouthpiece and in a very well padded soft Pro Tec case.
