Olds Special Trumpet

This Olds Special Trumpet was made in the F.E. Olds workshop in Fullerton, California sometime around 1963-64 according to the serial number. It has a stylish nickel bell with a copper flare. It has a lacquer finish which has some moderate wear as to be expected with an instrument of this age, but if anything this gives it its own distinct character. The valves seem to have been replated at some point and the compression is very good with a healthy pop when the slides are removed. Comes supplied in its original woodshell case.
