This Axos Alto Sax has the classic Selmer sound which is rich, full and powerful. The brass used in Selmer Saxes plays a large part in this sound and resonance and they’ve really captured this in the Axos.

The keywork layout is intuitive and the intonation is secure from top to bottom. This really is an interesting entry to this area of the market as it competes directly with the Yamaha YAS-62 and Yanagisawa AWO1. Time will tell how it compares at this popular price point.
