Vintage Shepherd’s Crook Trumpet

This Vintage Shepherd’s Crook Trumpet is an interesting unusual instrument and unfortunately we don’t know too much about it. There is no makers name or any other identifiers on it. We suspect that it may be late 19th century or early 20th century. Featuring a Shepherd’s Crook design that is normally more associated with cornets and with a distinctive raw brass finish, this instrument looks great and is in very good condition for its presumed age. It does blow but it is a high pitched instrument, so it would be best considered as a playable collectable. Instrument only with no case or mouthpiece.
