Denis Wick Flugel Mouthpieces

Denis Wick Flugel Mouthpieces have set the standard for many years and are the default brass band mouthpiece. The sound of British brass-playing is much admired and much emulated throughout the world. Denis Wick Flugel Mouthpieces and mutes have helped create this distinctive timbre, and have come to represent an important part of our musical heritage.
The standard models have the deepest cups, for a slightly less deep cup with easier high range the B models (eg. 4BF) are ideal.
There are two shank sizes – small (F) and large (FL). As a rough guide Bach, Courtois and Getzen flugels take the “F” and Yamaha, CarolBrass and Conn take “FL”.
