Flugel mouthpieces

We keep in stock a selection of flugel mouthpieces, available new or second hand from manufacturers such as Denis Wick, Vincent Bach, and Yamaha. Denis Wick flugel mouthpieces are well suited to the brass band player as they have deep cups and a large throat that will provide a mellow tone, so matching the sound quality of the other instruments. They are available silver plated or gold plated. Vincent Bach flugelhorn mouthpieces are not quite as deep and have a smaller throat, so will produce a brighter more carrying sound. This style is more favoured by trumpet players doubling on flugel.        Mouthpieces come in different sizes and dimensions to better suit the player. A choice in mouthpieces for a player is entirely subjective, and what would work for one player may be entirely different for another.
