Tuba/Euphonium Carriage Straps are used when an instrument is too heavy to carry without assistnce. They are not normally used in an orchesra or brass band whilst the player is seated, however they are essential for most players when standing or marching. So when you see a Salvation Army band playing Carols at Christmas the Euphonium player and the Tuba player will almost certainly be using a carriage strap. When you see a Military band marching past, again the Euphonium player and the Tuba player will almost certainly be using a carriage strap. BG (Franck Bichon) Stolzel and Kobl. Prices vary dependent on the material used to make the straps and how durable the straps are.
