Bach Strad Flugel Horns

Bach Strad Flugel Horns are famous for their signature Bach sound. The .401″ bore promotes an ease of response while the one-piece hand-hammered bell produces a warm sound with full projection. For the warmest sound consider the Strad 183G with gold brass bell.

Vincent Bach combined his unique talents as both a musician and an engineer to create brass instruments of unequalled tonal quality. Often copied but never duplicated, Bach Stradivarius instruments today remain the sound choice of artists worldwide.

Vincent Bach’s original flugelhorn design can be traced back to 1932 with serial number 1002. Vincent initially made flugelhorns in three configurations: soprano Eb flugelhorn, mezzo soprano Bb flugelhorn, and the contralto low Eb flugelhorn. These original flugelhorn designs were produced up through 1981 when they were retired in favor of the new contemporary design of the model 183 flugelhorn. Today, Vincent Bach still produces and offers the popular 183 flugelhorn model. Each Bach flugelhorn is handcrafted using the highest quality materials found here in the Midwest region of the United States. Each professional Vincent Bach flugelhorn is handcrafted in Elkhart, Indiana and offers the highest degree of durability, unparalleled performance, and a signature Bach sound.
