Besson Cornets
Today’s range of Besson cornets consists of the student-level Prodige, the classic Sovereign and the top of the range Prestige. Available in a choice of clear lacquer or silver plate these modern day Bessons are the choice of serious amateurs, top level brass bands and pro players alike. Formerly made in the UK the Sovereign & the Prestige are now manufactured in Germany.
The names Boosey & Hawkes and Besson have long been synonymous with the world of brass bands. Manufacturers all over the world have tried to emulate these great instruments but few have truly succeeded. Steps are continually taken to improve its already superior build quality.
