Second Hand Cornets
We normally have a range of second hand cornets available. These are usually in Bb although we do sometimes have second hand Eb cornets and even occasionally cornets in C or D!
Cornets are the leading melodic voice in the British style Brass Band; trumpets are never used. The ensemble consists of about thirty musicians, including nine Bb cornets and one Eb Soprano cornet. In the UK, companies such as Besson and Boosey & Hawkes specialized in instrument for brass bands, although many other companies now manufacture instruments to a high specification from around the world.
Our second hand instruments are serviced before being offered for sale, and are subject to six months guarantee. This may not apply to instruments being sold on commission. VAT is not chargeable on our second hand instruments.
