Soprano Cornets
Soprano Cornets are pitched in Eb, a fourth higher than the more common Cornets in Bb. There is usually only one Soprano Cornet in a Brass Band as opposed to ten in Bb. It is regularly used as a solo instrument both in todays test pieces and in solo work. Todays instruments are much larger than the instruments of 20 years ago, with bigger bore sizes and bell diameters. We normally keep the Yamaha 8620s Neo and Besson Sovereign Soprano Cornets in stock with others available to order.
